Before you see your dr, remember that if you have a systemic yeast infection, most pharmeceuticals will make it worse. Most gynecologists prescribe diflucan (fluconazole) for yeast infections. If you have a systemic yeast infection, this medicine will work for about 2 weeks, and then the candida will come back in full force. Make sure you do your research on what systemic candida is before taking medicine from a dr who means well. Try putting a glass of water by your bed tonight. First thing when you wake up before you do anything at all, (no drinking,eating,brushing) spit in the glass. Watch the spit for about 10 minutes. If it forms legs, or becomes cloudy, or becomes sediment on the bottom of the glass, your infection is systemic. If it just dissipates into the water, you are fine.
