Ive been having recurrent candida problems for two years now. It manifests itself in the yeast infections which will go away with some treatments, but after a week come back. I have taken Fluconazole for 2 weeks, than for 7 weeks, and while acomplia approval I was taking it I was fine, but after about 2-3 weeks I got the symptoms back. The other things I tried are vaginal creams and gential violet, which helped, but it comes back in a weeks or so.
I also noticed that the yeast infections are connected to my period, they disappear during the period, and are really weak a week after the period, and they gain strength about ten days before my period.
I take birth control pills (Yasmin) for about a year now.
Can anyone with the similar problem give me any suggestions, how did you overcome the candida???
Any help will be strongly appreciated.
About 3 days ago I have strated to keep the candida diet. I dont eat any sugars and minimum amount of carbs. + I take Lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidobacterium twice a day in a capsule (both about 5*10^8), as well as enteric coated garlic oil.

Is taking garlic oil capsules as efficient as taking real garlic?
I still eat 1 apple a day, is that allright?
Should I do anything else?
GYNODOC, Thanks a lot! I have NOT been checked for diabetes, but my grandma has it and my uncle too, so I will definitely check. I have limited all yeast or sugar containing products, and alcohol.

i am doing the garlic ovule treatment acomplia cheap no prescription for my candida problem and i just want to ask if any of you girls out there knows for how long i should leave it in.
I read that the body gets rid of it after it has already used it to the max, but i need to ask anyways.

Is it really bad when you drink beer like ones a week and you have candida overgrowth. Ive been on candida diet for a month not really s strict diet but like little bit of sugar ones in a while. Ive been treating candida with organic garlic everyday, apple cider vinegar, and probiotics. So my thrush got much better. Like the whole tongue was white and after a month only half of the tongue was white. So then i decided buy acomplia pills to go to a party to have some fun and i drank allot of beer, Next day my skin started breaking out and my tongue was worse then ever,, It was so white. Is it really bad because i did that. Do i have to start over now with the candida diet and supplements. Or is it ok to drink ones in a while..

Hey all, I have had chronic Candida overgrowth for probably 5 years already. As of yet, any medication that I have tried only worked for a week or so and then my symptoms came back. When I tried natural remedies, and I did it for over a year, they helped me at the moment but as soon as I stopped my symptoms came back. I can not eat, pretty much anything but lettuce and cucumbers and garlic. Those are the three things that will not cause me to be in severe pain. Basically, it’s as if I am allergic to all foods that acomplia side effects cause Candida to grow. My symptoms started out with a severe yeast infection and went to cystitis then to severe weight gain and in the process I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. I did the full treatment for Hepatitis C and during the one year treatment all my Candida problems went away. And again, as soon as I concluded my treatment my body went back to having the same Candida problems as before, the weekly yeast infections, the severe pain during urination,etc.
I am pretty sure that my Hepatitis C was cause by my chronic Candida infection, but our knowledgeable doctors can not diagnose Candida overgrowth and blame it on something else. To date, I am still struggling with chronic Candida overgrowth and after tons of research and trials of herbal medications I have yet to find an actual cure, not just a cover up for the problem.
I would love it if someone, who had a similar experience as mine and found a cure for the infection, helped me out in this dire situation. I will be forever grateful, and I do want to mention that I know quiet a few people who have gone through the same thing that I am going through, but till this date have not been successful in finding an actual solution to the problem. I have taken Diflucan and Nystatin but each time i stopped taking them I had recuring infections. And I did get tested for all kinds of STD’s and HIV and I am negative for all.

After feeling ill for nearly a year I finally found out that I had a candida yeast overgrowth.
